2013 Oscar Awards Live this Sunday, February 24th

We can all breathe a sigh of relief as out most awaited awards ceremony is nearing. The Oscars Awards has always been on the number one list of to watch awards show. This is a culmination of months and myriad of awards show which started late last year up to early this year with the Golden Globe Awards, Critics Choice and a few others.

The Oscars red carpet would be teeming with well-dressed stars and celebrities wearing the latest fashions, sparkling jewelry and stylish shoes. Watch out for the nominated actors and actresses as they strut they stuff past the carpet. I always look forward to the pre-award shows with the candid interviews and some very interesting bloopers every year. The question of who will commit yet another unforgettable fashion blunder ala Bjork's swan dress would be answered by tomorrow.

So apart from the expected normal stuff of giving out awards, stay tuned to see more of the fun side of the Oscars Awards 2013, scheduled to air February 24th at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles. This would be the debut of host Seth MacFarlane.

Oscar Awards 2013 Performers

The Oscar Awards 2013 are just a few hours away and we all can't wait to see who will bring home the bacon in terms of the major awards including the Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress awards. What I look forward to also are the performers for the awards night. These performances are surely very well-prepared.

Number one on the list of performers for the Oscars this Sunday night would be the much talked-about tribute to the James Bond franchise by none other than Dame Shirley Bassey. Adele, who sang the official soundtrack of James Bond's Skyfall, is also expected to perform for all of us. If you can remember, she won a Golden Globe for that song. The cast of Les Miserables including Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russel Crowe and Amanda Segfried would also perform live. The celebration of musicals will include highlights from Chicago, Dreamgirls and Les Misérables. Catherine Zeta-Jones, representing Chicago and Jennifer Hudson performs for Dreamgirls.
